7 Days Tour from Marrakech Itinerary

DAY 1: MARRAKECH – AIT BEN HADDOU KASBAH – DADS VALLEY: 

After being picked up from your hotel, Riad, or airport in Marrakech, your 7 days tour from Marrakech will take you through the Atlas mountains via the Tizi N Tichka pass. You’ll pause to snap pictures of the Berber villages and you’ll go for a stroll around some of them to truly experience the Berber way of life. On the way, you’ll explore the kasbah, which belongs to the17th-century in Telouet.

We’ll move to the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you’ll sit and eat in a local restaurant. Additionallywe’ll get going towards Ouarzazate, “The gate to the Desert”, where you’ll visit the Kasbah Taourirt and the film Atlas studios. Due to its position and the surrounding castles, this small city has welcomed several foreign film producers. The film industry began to flourish after it was called the Hollywood of Africa by international filmmakers.

We then pass through Roses on our path to Dades valley. Date with a typical Moroccan meal and stay the night in a Riad or hotel within the Dades gorges.

DAY 2: DADES VALLEY – TODGHA GORGE – MERZOUGA:

Your adventure will carry on, after having an appetizing breakfast at the riad, we’ll directly move to the Todra gorges, a free time will provide to you to stroll beneath the 300-meter-high cliff and take in the stunning views of Berber communities perched above the valley. A lot of mountain climbers come here to exercise and practice their favorite sport.

On the way, we will go through the stunning landscapes of the Sahara Oasis of Merzouga, where you will spend a night in a local hotel.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA Tour and Luxury desert camp:

Eating The delicious breakfast in the hotel will be the start point that leads you to a village almost entirely populated by dark-skinned people originally from Sub-Saharan countries who experience the folklore of Gnawa music and the traditional dance.

On the way to a nomad family, we’ll visit the Berber family  as well as the kind people who are going to be waiting for you and welcoming you 

We will proceed to a professional camel rider who will be ready for you to begin the camel ride and explore the enchanted Erg-Chebbi wavy dunes. You’ll stop to unwind, enjoy, watch the sunset, and practice sandboarding.

DAY 4: MERZOUGA – Erfoud– IFRANE – FES:

You’ll depart for Fes across the Ziz valley. You’ll first make a stop in the fossil-rich town of Erfoud. Then, you’ll journey to the Tafilalt oases via the Oued Ziz and the Ziz Gorges. You’ll stop in Errachidia along the way for lunch and to experience authentic Berber hospitality.

We carry on our journey through the Cedar Forest to Azrou, which in the local Berber language means “rock.” This rocky hill is home to the endangered Barbary Apes and is surrounded by a lush cedar forest.

The next destination will be Ifrane, a clean, contemporary city that recalls Switzerland more than anywhere else in the Middle Atlas. In the late afternoon, you will be driven via Fes to a conventional hotel or riad where you will spend the night.

Day 5: Explore the Imperial of Fes:

One of the four Moroccan imperial cities and the oldest is Fes, which is well worth visiting. For a half-day tour of the entire city, meet your local guide and begin in the medina, which is the oldest in all of Morocco and was established more than a thousand years ago.

The city of Fes is made up of two parts: Fes el Bali and Fes el-Jadid. Talaa Kebira, “the Great Slope/Climb,” is one of the longest and most important streets in Fes el-Bali.

Next, pay a visit to the stunning Al-Attarine Madrasa. This madrasa (school) is located in Fes, Morocco, near the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque. It was built by the Marinid sultan Uthman II Abu Said (1310-1331).

And do not forget to visit el Mellah which offers an amazing view before going back to the hotel.

Day 6: Rabat and Casablanca:

carry on with your seven-day desert escapade in the historically significant capital of Rabat, which hosts the Kasbah of Oudaias, then go to the unfinished minaret known as Hassan Tower. Discover the Roman and Islamic ruins at the medieval fortification of the Chellah Necropolis in the center of Rabat.

Casablanca will be the next destination in which we will be able to visit the second-largest mosque in Africa, (the Hassan II mosque), which is well worth visiting with a panoramic view, this magnificent mosque is situated on the Atlantic coast. Day 7: Casablanca to Marrakech:
