Verified BEST TRIP EVER!!!
As an avid traveler, who has had the privilege of visiting over 20 countries on 6 continents, I can honestly say Enjoy Morocco Travel is by far the best travel tour agency I have ever worked with. From the very beginning, Ismail was on top of everything to ensure we were always having the best experience. You can tell this is more than just a job to him. He puts his heart into his work and truly cares about all of his clients. If you are like me and not very familiar with what to expect in Morocco, having a one stop shop like Enjoy Morocco Travel is a LIFESAVER. Ismail was our trip planner, tour guide, driver, photographer, videographer, Moroccan expert, and most importantly, a new friend.Planning & Communication: Ismail speaks great English (as well as a slew of other languages fluently). He always responded promptly to all of our messages and addressed all of our concerns and requests. He was easy to talk to and work with throughout the entire trip-planning process and always patiently explained anything that was confusing. Accommodations: We LOVED every place we stayed. The riads were so beautiful, as if we were living in museums, and all of the places were clean, inviting, and comfortable (this was some of the best sleep this mama has had in a while!). A delicious breakfast was always included, and the staff was always friendly. I also want to give a shout out to Ideal Desert Camp and Hotel Meteorites Boulaajoul for going above and beyond in their service. I think part of this was due to their relationship with Ismail, but also, you can tell these are well-run establishments that I would also highly recommend. Food: Wow. Not only was each meal incredibly delicious, but we were treated to a wide variety of types of food too. Ismail always knew the best places to eat, whether it was the Number 11 seafood stand at the port or a beautifully tucked away roadside restaurant. We dined on fresh seafood, mouthwatering tagine, homemade couscous, flavorful bbq, and were always eagerly looking forward to our next meal. Activities: I am still in awe of the wide range of unique, once in a lifetime experiences we had on this trip! From peaceful strolls in enchanting medinas to pulse pounding buggy rides across the sand dunes. From a heartwarming visit to a nomad family to staying up late in the desert playing bongos under the stars. Ismail created a customized itinerary that allowed us visit Essaouira, Rabat, Martil, Chefchaouen, Merzouga (Sahara Desert), Rissani, Marrakech, and the Atlas Mountains. Ismail’s fun and easygoing personality, along with his comprehensive knowledge of Moroccan geography and history, made the long road trips painless and interesting. His knowledge of the best (aka cleanest) rest stops was also greatly appreciated!Service: Ismail is a tour guide who genuinely cares about giving his clients a special and memorable experience from beginning to end. Something that stands out to me about Ismail compared to other tour guides is how incredibly observant and responsive he was to our needs. Whether it was small touches like adjusting the sun visor to give us more shade while we napped or changing the music to always match the mood or bigger details like always making sure we had enough water and checking that our meals were always made to our liking, Ismail was always a step ahead. He also knew a mind-blowing amount of people and was always greeted with a big smile and warm hug everywhere we went (which is another testament to his character). This made us feel incredibly fortunate to have him as our tour guide because the welcome he received was always extended to his clients. Because of his relationships with others, we felt safe and comfortable everywhere we went and truly felt like VIPs on the trip.
