Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Your 1 week Morocco student tour from marrakech begins the moment you land in Marrakech. A friendly local driver will welcome you at Menara Airport and transfer you smoothly to your riad or hotel. Settle in, relax, and get ready for the adventure of a lifetime.

Day 2: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges

After breakfast, your driver picks you up at 8:30 a.m. The journey starts with crossing the picturesque Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters offering sweeping views of the High Atlas Mountains. The first major visit is the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO treasure and filming location for classics like Gladiator and The Mummy.

After lunch, continue to Ouarzazate to tour the Oscar Atlas Film Studios and the ancient Taourirt Kasbah. Passing through the palm groves of Skoura and the fragrant Rose Valley, you’ll reach the scenic Dades Valley by late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in a local riad overlooking the valley.

Day 3: Dades Gorges – Tinghir – Merzouga

Your 1 week Morocco student tour continues through the impressive Todra Gorge. Passing through small Berber villages, you’ll stop in Tinghir to explore its lush palm valley before walking between the towering canyon walls some rising up to 300 meters.
After lunch in Tinjdad or Touroug, continue to Erfoud, known for fossils and desert landscapes, and finally reach Merzouga.

Here, your camel trekking experience begins. Ride into the dunes of Erg Chebbi, pause for sunset photos, try sandboarding, and then continue to your Sahara camp. Enjoy dinner, traditional music, and a peaceful night under the desert sky.

Day 4: Full Day in Merzouga

This day of your 1 week Morocco student tour is dedicated to exploring the desert like a local. Choose a camel ride or 4WD back to Merzouga, then begin a 4×4 adventure around the Erg Chebbi dunes. Stops include Hassi Labied oasis, the seasonal Srij Lake, and Khamlia village for a Gnawa music performance. You’ll also visit the Mifis mines and meet a nomadic Berber family for tea, an authentic cultural moment. After lunch at a local restaurant, return to your hotel in Merzouga for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Draa Valley – Agdz – Ouarzazate

After breakfast, head toward Ouarzazate with a stop at Rissani’s traditional market (if it’s Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday). The road unfolds across a pre-desert landscape dotted with acacia trees before reaching the scenic Draa Valley home to Morocco’s longest river.
Continue across the dramatic Anti-Atlas Mountains, stopping for lunch along the way. Arrive in Ouarzazate by late afternoon for dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 6: Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxing drive back to Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas mountains with scenic photo stops. By midday, a local guide joins you to explore the city’s highlights: the Koutoubia Minaret, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and the historic Medersa Ben Youssef. Visit Majorelle Garden before ending the day in the lively Jemaa el Fnaa square. Return to your hotel for the night.

Day 7: Departure from Marrakech
