8 Days Tour from Casablanca to Marrakech

Day 1: Casablanca, Rabat, Meknes and Fes

Our first stop is Casablanca, where you’ll get a chance to see the stunning Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. This beautiful mosque is built over the Atlantic Ocean and features intricate architecture and beautiful mosaics. After exploring the mosque, we’ll head to the capital city of Rabat, where you’ll see the beautiful Kasbah of the Udayas, a fortress that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean.

For lunch, we’ll stop at a local restaurant where you can try some of Morocco’s most delicious dishes, such as tagine, couscous, and harira soup. Next, we’ll make our way to Meknes, a historic city that was once the capital of Morocco. Here, you’ll get to see the beautiful Bab Mansour gate, which is adorned with intricate mosaics and carvings. We’ll also take a stroll through the beautiful medina, where you can shop for souvenirs and take in the vibrant atmosphere of this bustling city.

One of Morocco’s most recognisable cities and our last stop of the day is Fes. You get the opportunity to tour this historic Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was built in the ninth century. We’ll visit another nearby restaurant for dinner so you can try more of the delectable cuisine of Morocco.

Day 2: Fes Sightseeing Tour with Local Guide

Day 2 of your 8-day journey from Casablanca to Marrakech! Today, we’ll be exploring Fes with a knowledgable local guide who will take you through the city’s rich history and culture.

Our first stop of the day is the Bou Inania Madrasa, an impressive 14th-century Islamic school with intricate tilework and beautiful architecture. Next, we’ll visit the stunning Al-Attarine Madrasa, a beautiful 14th-century school with exquisite plasterwork and mosaics.

We’ll then make our way to the University of Al Quaraouiyine, one of the oldest universities in the world, founded in 859 AD. Here, you’ll see the beautiful courtyard and library, which houses thousands of historic manuscripts.

After Lunch, we’ll stroll through the historic Medina, where you’ll see beautiful architecture, historic landmarks, and bustling markets filled with spices, textiles, and handmade goods. We’ll stop for lunch at a local restaurant where you can try some of Morocco’s most delicious dishes.

In the afternoon, we’ll visit the tanneries of Fes, where you’ll see the traditional process of dyeing leather. You’ll also visit a pottery factory, where you’ll see traditional techniques used to create beautiful ceramics.

For dinner, we’ll head to another local restaurant where you can sample more of Morocco’s famous cuisine. Get ready for an exciting day of exploring the beautiful city of Fes with a knowledgeable local guide. Overnight in the Hotel.

Day 3: Fes, Azrou, Midelt, Ziz Valley and Merzouga

Greetings to the third day of your 8-day journey from Casablanca to Marrakech! Today, we’ll leave Fes and go to the lovely desert village of Merzouga, where you’ll get a firsthand look at the Sahara Desert.

Our first stop is Azrou, a charming town nestled in the Middle Atlas Mountains. Here, you’ll get to see the famous Cedar Forest and meet some of the resident Barbary macaque monkeys.

We’ll then make our way to Midelt, a small town known for its apple orchards and stunning views of the Atlas Mountains. We’ll stop for lunch at a local restaurant and try some of the town’s delicious apple-based dishes.

After lunch, we’ll continue our journey through the Ziz Valley, a stunning oasis with palm trees, waterfalls, and traditional Berber villages. You’ll get to see some of the valley’s most breathtaking scenery, including the towering cliffs and red sandstone formations.

We’ll arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon, where you’ll have some time to relax and take in the beauty of the Sahara Desert. For dinner, we’ll enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal at a local restaurant. You’ll spend the night in a traditional Berber tent, where you’ll have a chance to experience the quiet, peaceful beauty of the desert under a blanket of stars.

Day 4: Tour around Erg Chebbi Dunes and Visit a Nomad Family

After breakfast, we’ll go on a 4×4 dune tour, showcasing Morocco’s breathtaking landscapes. Witness impressive dunes, some towering over 150 meters, and learn about desert geology and ecology.

Then, we’ll visit a nomad family to learn about their lifestyle, culture, and traditions. Experience tea, bread-making, and nomadic daily life in the Sahara.

Lunch will be a delicious traditional nomad family camp meal, featuring fresh ingredients and regional flavors.

In the afternoon, return to camp for free time amidst stunning desert scenery. Walk, sandboard, or simply relax in the peaceful desert.

Dinner brings another Moroccan feast, highlighting the region’s unique flavors and spices.

Day 5: Merzouga, Rissani, Erfoud, Todra Gorges and Dades Valley

Welcome to Day 5 of your 8-day tour from Casablanca to Marrakech! Today, we’ll be leaving Merzouga and heading towards the stunning Todra Gorges and Dades Valley.

In the morning, you’ll have some free time to relax and enjoy the beautiful desert scenery in Merzouga. You can take a walk in the dunes or simply relax at our camp.

After lunch, we’ll make our way to Rissani, a historic town that was once an important stop on the trans-Saharan trade routes. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the local market, where you can find everything from spices and textiles to handmade crafts and jewelry.

Next, we’ll visit Erfoud, a small town known for its fossil discoveries and unique geological formations. We’ll stop at a local fossil museum, where you’ll learn about the fascinating history of the region and see some of the stunning fossils that have been found here.

We’ll then make our way to the Todra Gorges, a series of towering limestone canyons that are some of the most breathtaking natural formations in Morocco. You’ll have the opportunity to hike through the gorges and take in the stunning scenery.

For dinner, we’ll enjoy a delicious traditional Moroccan meal at a local restaurant in the Dades Valley, with a variety of dishes that showcase the unique flavors and spices of the region.

After dinner, we’ll retire to our accommodations for the night, where you’ll have a chance to rest and relax in the beautiful surroundings of the Dades Valley.

Day 6: Dades Valley, Skoura Oasis, Kasbah Taourirt, Ouarzazate and Marrakech

Welcome to Day 6 of your 8-day tour from Casablanca to Marrakech! Today, we’ll be leaving the Dades Valley and making our way towards Marrakech, with some exciting stops along the way.

After breakfast, we’ll visit the Skoura Oasis, a stunning palm grove that’s home to some of the oldest and most well-preserved kasbahs in Morocco. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the oasis on foot, taking in the beautiful scenery and learning about the history and culture of the region.

Next, we’ll visit the Kasbah Taourirt, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was once a fortified palace and an important center of trade and culture in the region. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the kasbah and learn about its rich history and architecture.

For lunch, we’ll stop at a local restaurant in Ouarzazate, where you’ll have the chance to try some delicious local cuisine.

We’ll then make our way to Ouarzazate, a small city that’s often referred to as the “Hollywood of Morocco” due to its many film studios and the many movies that have been filmed here. We’ll visit the Atlas Studios, one of the largest film studios in the world, where you’ll have the opportunity to see some of the sets and props used in famous movies and TV shows.

Afterthat, we’ll continue on to Marrakech, where we’ll check into our accommodations for the night. You’ll have the rest of the evening to explore the vibrant city on your own, taking in the sights, sounds, and flavors of one of the most exciting cities in Morocco.

For dinner, you’ll have the option to try some of the delicious street food that Marrakech is famous for, or to dine at a local restaurant that serves traditional Moroccan cuisine. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 7: Exploring Marrakech with Local Guide

Welcome to the seventh day of your captivating 8-day journey from Casablanca to Marrakech. Today, we’ll delve into the heart of Marrakech, guided by a local expert, as we unravel the city’s history, culture, and vibrancy.
