7 Days Tour from Fes to Marrakech Itinerary

Day 1: Fes – Ifran -Middle Atlas mountains – Erfoud– Merzouga:

Your unique 7 days tour from Fes to Marrakech will take place once you get in Fes. during the first day, we will pick you up from the airport and leave for the desert of Merzouga crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains. On the way, we will visit the towns of Ifran and Azrou with their beautiful cedar forests. We stop to discover the monkeys living in nature and feed them before stopping for a good lunch in the town of Zaida.

Afterward, we continue to Errachidia and Erfoud to have time to see the fossil of the area and then move to the Erg Chebbi desert to express the camel ride in between dunes and catch the sunset, a magical view up dunes that will love to take pictures of it before taking the road to the luxury camps to spend the night there and enjoy the sleepy under stars.

Day 2: Merzouga Desert – Nomads Families – Khamlia Village:

This would be the ideal day to see the desert sunrise early in the morning. At the top of a dune close to the camp, you will witness the most amazing sunrise you have ever witnessed, which is definitely worth the trip. After dawn, we ride camels back to Merzouga, where a substantial breakfast is waiting for us.

After a quick change of clothes, we will go to the villages of Hassilabied and Khamlia in a 4×4 off-road vehicle. Meeting desert nomads and listening to live Gnawa music and singing can be done in this peaceful setting. We can visit more oases and places off the beaten path because we are off-road. After wrapping up with a trip to Rissani’s souks in the evening, we will make the nighttime drive back to Merzouga.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Draa Valley – Dades Gorges- Dades valley:

The third day of your trip will begin after getting up early the next morning. You will have breakfast and a shower, before heading off to explore the tourist area of Rissani, including the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali and passing Erfoud city on the way and passing through Daraa valley with its thousands of palms before reaching Tudgha gorges, which are a collection of limestone river canyons, or wadis, located close to the Moroccan town of Tineghir in the eastern portion of the High Atlas Mountains.

Next, moving to Dades valley where we will spend the night there is a local hotel to get rest and get ready for the following day and new destinations on the plan. 

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Ait ben Haddou kasbah – Marrakech:

We’ll go to Ouarzazate after breakfast, which is home to the country’s film industry and is a popular vacation spot for foreign directors. You’re willing to visit Atlas Studios. Next, visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, one of Morocco’s most well-known fortified settlements and the “Granada of the Desert” that served as the background for the movies Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator, you will spend some time discovering the local culture, people’s life and the history of the buildings there.
