Day 1: Rabat, Meknes, Volubilis and Fes

As you arrive in Rabat, Morocco’s capital, you will be greeted by the city’s distinctive blend of old history and modern culture. The Hassan Tower, a 12th-century minaret in the middle of the city, might be your first stop. Then, pay a visit to the magnificent Mausoleum of Mohammed V, which holds the tombs of Morocco’s previous kings.

You can  visit the Udayas Kasbah, a fortified castle erected in the 12th century. Exploring the Roman Ruins of Volubilis offers a glimpse into an extraordinary archaeological site.

Embarking on a journey from Rabat to Meknes, a city often overlooked by tourists, reveals a place brimming with concealed treasures. The Bab El Mansour Gate is one of Meknes’ most remarkable constructions, leading to the busy Place El-Hedim, a lively area crowded with street entertainers and food merchants.

The beautiful Bou Inania Madrasa, a 14th-century Islamic school embellished with elaborate tile work and sculptures, is another must-see.

Next, you will travel to Fes, which is known as Morocco’s cultural and spiritual centre. The Old City, also known as Fes el Bali, is a UNESCO World Heritage site with of tiny alleyways, bustling souks, and old mosques. We’ll go to cooperatives and spend the night in Riad.

Day 2: Fes, Ifrane, Azrou and Merzouga Desert

On the second day of your 5-day tour from Rabat to Marrakech, after breakfast, you will embark on a picturesque road trip through some of Morocco’s most stunning landscapes. Azrou, a lovely Berber settlement in the Middle Atlas Mountains, will be your first destination. The hamlet is famous for its beautiful cedar trees, which are home to a wide range of species, including Barbary macaques.

The journey will then continue into the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing via Midelt, a city noted for its apple orchards and magnificent scenery. You’ll then drop into the magnificent Ziz Valley, a lush oasis studded with date palms and olive groves.

As you keep traveling, you will arrive in Erfoud, which is known as the Sahara Desert’s gateway. From there, you’ll travel to Merzouga, a little settlement on the outskirts of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Day 3: Exploring Merzouga Desert

On your third day of exploring Merzouga Desert, you will get up early to see the spectacular sunrise over the dunes. Following a traditional Berber breakfast, you will go on a camel journey through the desert with local guides who will share their knowledge of the country and its culture.

You’ll be surrounded by an unearthly environment as you ride across the dunes, which seem to extend on forever. The Erg Chebbi sand dunes, which may reach up to 150 metres in height, are among the world’s largest and provide a spectacular background for your camel trek.

You’ll have the chance to visit the local souks, where you may buy traditional Moroccan handicrafts and other items.

Following your visit to the Todra Gorges, you’ll continue your journey into the High Atlas Mountains’ difficult terrain, passing through small Berber communities and admiring the beautiful landscape. Finally you will reach to Dades Valley. Overnight and dinner in the hotel.

Day 5: Dades Valley, Ouarzazate, Ait Ben-Haddou and Marrakech

On the final day of your tour, you will depart Dades Valley and travel through some of Morocco’s most beautiful landscapes. Ultimately, you’ll arrive in Ouarzazate, dubbed the “gateway to the desert.” The city is a film production hotspot, and you’ll have the chance to see the Atlas Film Studios, which have served as the setting for a number of Hollywood blockbusters.

Your next stop will be the Kasbah of Ait Ben-Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most stunning kasbahs. The Kasbah is a magnificent fortification with fortified walls and towers meant to protect the local population from intruders.
