Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Dades Valley:

Today, your driver and guide will pick you up to start your 3 days tour from marrakech to Fes. You’ll head south towards Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara.” You’ll stop to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, a traditional earthen fortress. Ait Benhaddou is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the Souss-Massa-Drâa region of Morocco. The fortified city was once an essential stop on the caravan route between the Sahara Desert and the Moroccan coast.

You’ll savor delicious dishes at lunch before continuing to Ouarzazate. The city is in southern Morocco, known as a gateway to the Sahara Desert. The town is a home to the Atlas Studios, which have been used for many famous films, including Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, and Gladiator—continuing forward to Todra Gorges to spend The perfect night in a local hotel.

Day 2: Dades Gorges-Todra Gorge-Merzouga:

After breakfast in your hotel, leave toward Todra Gorge, a must-see for any nature lover. This gorgeous canyon is located in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco and is known for its towering cliffs and stunning views. The gorge’s walls rise to about 300 meters in some places, and the canyon is about 20 kilometers long. After you’ve had a chance to explore the area, you’ll be heading to Merzouga.

Day 3: Merzouga – Fes

To witness the incredible sunrise from the dunes, wake up early and enjoy breakfast. You can then go back by camel or 4×4, leaving the dunes behind. After driving on the asphalt roads, you will head north towards Fez through the High Atlas Mountains. On the way, you will go through Erfoud, Errachidia, and Midelt. You will stop for lunch and pictures of wild monkeys in the Cedar forests of Azrou before arriving in Fez. You will be dropped off at your accommodation.
