3 Days Tour from Fes to Merzouga Desert Itinerary
Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga:
During the 3 Days Tour from Fes To Merzouga, we will start from Fes where we will pick you up and visit “the Switzerland of Morocco” Ifrane city while you are enjoying the pass through the large cedar forest of the Middle Atlas where the Atlas macaques are concentrated. We continue to Errachidia through the Ziz valley. from there we will stop at the city of Erfoud, the capital of dates, and take a break before continuing to Merzouga to start the Desert Adventure.
Once you get there in the late evening, you will be directed to your hotel where you will spend the night and get a delicious dinner in the Sahara desert.
Day 2: Merzouga desert discovery:
On this day, you’ll rise early to witness the sunrise over the dunes. After that, you’ll explore the Merzouga desert region, stop by the village of Khamlia, which is well-known for its musicians, and have lunch with local nomads. Finally, you’ll get ready for a camel ride experience across the dunes, where you’ll witness the most beautiful sunset on earth. Once we arrive at the luxurious camps in the desert, you will spend the entire night there after enjoying a traditional Berber dinner around the campfire with music to spend the whole night under the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga to Fes:
Back to Fes day has here. We will stop in Rissani to see the mausoleum of Molay Ali Cherif before moving to Erfoud to explore the city and pay a visit to a fossil museum after. From there, we go to Errachidia while crossing the Ziz valley and the Middle Atlas high mountains to reach Fes at the end of the day. The journey from Fes to the Merzouga Desert will reach its end, after 3 unforgettable days of exploration and discovery.
